dicono di lui:
What do you get if you cross a jack of all trades, Sheffield muso-type, a stripped down guitar and a synth? One hell of a beautiful racket, that's what.
When he's not busy introducing the city of steel to its latest and greatest musical spawn as a promoter and DJ, Chris Hutchinson has taken to peddling his own, unique, most definitely post-Arctic tunes under the (apostrophe free) name, Lets Bitter Cinema - no, we're not sure what it means either...
This double A-side forms an impressively different debut; 'Take This Act Down' is short, sharp, angular diatribe against indie posers, while the gentler clash of 'On Vienna' (thankfully, nothing to do with Ultravox) manages to sound both menacingly dark and optimistic at the same time. (www.highvoltage.org.uk)
Whatever the fuck that means, he's here. The one man band other wise known as Chris Hutchinson hides under a bowl-head haircut, an enigma playing out the battle of archetypal frontman shyness and terrifying, visceral stage force to be reckoned with. His megaphone-assisted aural assaults are speaker-trashing masterpieces in unparalleled energy, anger and downright terror. There's a bristling rabid-eyed determination there that could stare down the Mona Lisa: Lets Bitter Cinema is a brutal one finger salute to posers and scenesters; a heartfelt onslaught of emotion; a wide-open story book telling tales of fuck knows what; a racket and a disillusioned bank clerk. Anything LBC is, he really, really means it. (FLY MAGAZINE)

About the state of nation, the way it treats us today.
At school they give you shit, drop you in the pit,
You try and try and try to get out, but you can't because they've fucked you about.
Then you're a prime example of how they must not be,
This is just a sample of what they've done to you and me.
Do they owe us a living?
Of course they do, of course they do.
Owe us a living?
Of course they do, of course they do.
Owe us a living?
OF COURSE THEY FUCKING DO.
Don't want me anymore, cos I threw it on the floor.
They used to call me sweet thing, I'm nobody's plaything,
And now that I am different, they'd love to bust my head,
They'd love to see me cop-out, they'd love to see me dead.
Do they owe us a living?
Of course they do, of course they do.
Owe us a living?
Of course they do, of course they do.
Owe us a living?
OF COURSE THEY FUCKING DO.
The living that is owed to me I'm never going to get,
They've buggered this old world up, up to their necks in dept.
They'd give you a lobotomy for something you aint done,
They'll make you an epitomy of everything that's wrong.
Do they owe us a living?
Of course they do, of course they do.
Owe us a living?
Of course they do, of course they do.
Owe us a living?
OF COURSE THEY FUCKING DO.
Don't take any notice of what the public think,
They're so hyped up with T.V., they just don't want to think.
They'll use you as a target for demands and for advice,
When you don't want to hear it they'll say you're full of vice.
Do they owe us a living?
Of course they do, of course they do.
Owe us a living?
Of course they do, of course they do.
Owe us a living?
OF COURSE THEY FUCKING DO.
